I have been reading through the documentation and haven't found a canned solution for this. I have the need to monitor a CentOS5 host that's behind an http proxy. What I'd like to do is install a zabbix agent on the machine and configure that to use the proxy to talk to my zabbix server that lives elsewhere on the Internet.
Can Zabbix do this "out of the box" or do I need to deal with setting up a tunnel through the proxy (which I'd like to avoid, if possible).
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. I have only been playing with Zabbix for a week or so and so far I am quite happy with the capabilities and ease-of-use compared to nagios.
