Refining templates
Hi,
I have a few hosts using a Template_Linux template and as things go I've now figured out that this template needs to be broken up into for example "host with bonded networking" (so should monitor bond0) and "host with only eth0" (so should only monitor eth0). This is probably just a case of creating a new "Template_bonded_networking", link it to the relevant hosts and then move the current bonded networking items (and triggers) over to the new template.
However, I guess this doesn't preserve the history for those items. Is there any way to do this operation so that history is preserved (other than doing it directly in the database)?
