Currently I have 10 WRT54GL with Tomato Firmware as simple Access points and a 1.8 Zabbix Server. I just want to monitor the availability of these AP, so a simple pinging would be enough. I tried this with the latest X-WRT Firmware with a Zabbix Agent, but the WLAN performance is too bad to use it. Tomatos WLAN performance is great but has no Zabbix Client, so I don’t know what to do. Is there a simple solution to monitor these APs.
