Hello, I searched the documentation/forums looking for an answer to my question but so far I am unsuccessful.
Background:
I have a semi-large zabbix environment running 1.8.1 server. I've noticed email delays during large outages or high amount of problem states where action generated emails are delayed considerably from when the original alert was received and the email was sent.
At first I thought our mail servers were throttling the email traffic (considering we probably send a few hundred a week); but after more thorough investigation in the ALERTS table I noticed that zabbix only sends 1 email per alert/action at a 20 second interval!
Question(s):
Has anyone else ran into this problem?
Is there a method to modify how zabbix manages email notification (I.E changes the 20 second interval to 5 seconds)?
Best regards,
JJL
