Monitoring Oracle via database monitor/ODBC issues
I'm using zabbix 1.8.2 and am getting the following error message when trying to use the "database monitor" type against an Oracle server:
19453:20100628:152035.353 Item [soho1:db.odbc.select[soho1]] error: failed connection [[unixODBC]Missing server name, port, or database name in call to CC_connect.] (201)
I'm using the "database monitor" functionality with no problems against a Postgres backend so I know the unixODBC/zabbix integration is working fine and I'm also able to connect and run queries via the isql tool against the Oracle instance so I know the ODBC configuration is setup correctly. Does the database monitor functionality even support Oracle? Anyone else got this working against Oracle? Thanks
