host with some checks on check and some on server

Hi

Is it possible to have a host that will have some checks made by the zabbix server and some checks made by a proxy ?

For example.
Web checks can be from the server in a remote location, and then disk checks etc an be done by a proxy in same location as client server (to minize traffic + latency) ?
