Redhat 4/5 different values?

Hi

I am monitoring the oracle listener port 1521 on two different types of installations. One is redhat version 5 which using the services mapping returns 1 for service is running for the query net.tcp.port[,1521], the install on 4 returns 0. I can telnet to the port on both servers and the listener is running and accepting connections

any ideas ?
