Hi,
I'm currently trying to find a way to create some sort of global trigger that fires when any other trigger of for example a certain severity fires.
What I'm grappling with is that when our gateway has problems I get tons and tons of emails which is actually not that bad. But now I want to add notifications per SMS/Text on my mobile phone and I'm really worried about getting flooded with messages.
The idea is to create something like a global alert that gets triggered when other triggers get activated and then sends out a message every 5 minutes until the trigger is acknowledged.
This would be more of a "there are problems so check your mails" kind of thing rather than a specific alert. That way I would not get flooded with SMS/Text and could look at my emails or the web interface to see what's really going on.
Any ideas how to implement something like this in zabbix?
