We're heavy template-users in Zabbix, where we have different templates for each service we want to monitor. For external checks, it's easy with PING, HTTP, SMTP, ... checks.
We've not yet found a way to have those templates have dependencies on other templates. It seems to be broken when we assign those templates to a host then.
So my question:
- is it possible to have templates dependant on other templates when assigned to the same host (but assigned to multiple hosts as well)?
- if not, is there any idea if this will make it to the 2.0 release?
