I've asked the question in the chan but I think a thread in the forum could be useful for the archive.
I don't quite understand what the history syncer does. There isn't much information in the documentation about it.
Also, does it do something particular during startup ? I have a quite large DB with 22Gb of data, using a partitionning scheme. I've just launched a patched zabbix to optimize query's with the partitionning, I have a "Syncing history data..." message in my logs and progress is really slow.
I don't mind the speed, just I don't understand what it does exactly.
