Background
On machine in our network can detect if a broadcast storm is happening in our administration network.
When a broadcast storm is happening, we get a lot of alarms because our switches stops to answer on ping, but they work without problem.
Goal
To prevent getting so many alarms, a dependence against "broadcast storm" trigger would be great. If a broadcast storm is happening, dependent trigger should not send out notification and other things defined in the linked "action".
Problem
Because broadcast storm detection is located on one machine, there is a problem adding dependence against this trigger. icmppingsec tests exist in "switch" template and triggers exist in "customer switches" template, "core switches" template and so on.
Well, triggers exist a little bit all over the place that should not generate any notification if a broadcast storm is happening.
One of the few notifications we would like to have is that a broadcast storm is happening.
It is hard to describe how our set up is so please ask for more information if needed.

Code:
Error adding dependencies. Following dependencies are not allowed: 1) from a host trigger to a template trigger; 2) from a template trigger to a host trigger; 3) between template triggers, where templates have links to other templates.
