We are starting to deploy Zabbix in our networks, and stumbled upon a problem where two different proxies were given the same Hostname by mistake. This quickly resulted in hundreds of triggers relating to many items in the template.
It took me a while to understand and isolate the issue. Is there some way that the Zabbix server can isolate/ignore requests from a proxy which does not match the IP address mapped against it?
