I've installed Zabbix for the company I work for to monitor their network devices. It works like a charm.
the only thing I can get to work is the following:
We have deployed HP procurve switches throughout our network. For every port on these switches we've configured "friendly" names like "Server01" and "Server02". When querying "ifDescr" with Zabbix all I get returned is the port number
Is there something I'm not seeing?
