calculate item name

Hi,

I currently setup a new zabbix 2.0 monitoring infrastructure.

The Question: Is it possible to do some calculation in the "Discovery - Item prototyp" name field?

Background: I need to monitor some terrible switchs. They returns the Interfaces from index 257 to 280.

For Human readability I would like to subtract 256 so that the ports are visible from 1 to 24.
