I have a DB server and a zabbix server on different hosts.
I moved the zabbix server from one subnet to another but kept the database on the same machine. I did this by creating another VM and copying the config files over.
Then, somehow (oops) the original server got restarted and connected to the database. So now I had 2 different servers talking to the database at the same time.
Even after shutting down the 'extra' server the new server doesn't seem to be updating anything and the proxy doesn't seem to be sending any data over (and it isn't shrinking the sqlite database.)
How screwed is the database? I've got a backup, but it is old and it will take forever to restore.
Sigh. Any advice would be appreciated!
