    [SNMP TRAPS] Is this the way how it should work?

    Hello everyone,

    I have recently configured SNMP Traps for zabbix, but as i configure the item and precise the OID in the key name, I am being given the whole bunch of pieces of information in that item:

    01:47:06 2013/01/03 PDU INFO: notificationtype TRAP version 0 receivedfrom UDP: [172.30.10.74]:56608->[172.30.10.74] errorstatus 0 messageid 0 community public transactionid 10 errorindex 0 requestid 0 VARBINDS: .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0 type=67 value=Timeticks: (55) 0:00:00.55 .1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.4.1.0 type=6 value=OID: .1.3.6.1.6.123.0.33 .1.3.6.1.6.3.123 type=4 value=STRING: ".teststring000." .1.3.6.1.6.3.18.1.4.0 type=4 value=STRING: "public" .1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.4.3.0 type=6 value=OID: .1.3.6.1.6.123

    The manual says:

    For each found SNMP interface, the trap is compared to all regexes in “snmptrap[regex]” items. If found, the trap is set as the value of all matching items. If no match is found but there exists an “snmptrap.fallback” item, the trap is set as the value of that item.

    So as they write "...If found, the trap is set as the value of all matching items..." this is the way it should work?

    Bacause I was hoping for a sigle value in one item.

    Thank for any help or suggestions in advance,
    Pawel
