Has anyone migrated existing items to discovery prototypes and successfully migrated the history and trends for the original items after the new ones have been discovered? I'm just curious if its something someone else has done. I've tested it before in our dev environment (from what I see its as simple as changing the old itemid in history/trends tables to the new itemid) but because this is a dev env there isn't much load/alerts etc... for me to feel 100% confident there isn't anything hidden I'm missing.
