PerfCounter just returns '0'.

I have three PerfCounter entries set up in my zabbix_agentd.conf on a Win XP machine but they all return zero. I have checked in Perfmon and there are real values being generated but they don't seem to be getting back to Zabbix.
The checks are being made by Zabbix as the 'Last Check' field is updating regularly.
Anyone got any ideas/tips?
