help needed: system.cpu.util on FreeBSD

I have viewed

and confirmed that the following parameter is supported:

system.cpu.util[<cpu> <,type> <,mode>]

I cannot get any data to come in and Zabbix reverts the Status to "Not Supported"

I have

(FreeBSD, Zabbix ver 1.1)
Type: Zabbix Agent
Key: system.cpu.util[] (have used variations)
Type: Numeric Float
Unit: %
Store Value: As Is

Any help is greatly appreciated.
