Heartbeat monitoring email server

How do check some external mail (I don't have access to administrative side)? For example gmail and other third-party solutions, simple hosting email. How I can do something where I can ask postfix status and the status of the mail server? sconfused:Sending and receiving letters. Getting the status and speed of transmission.
