I haven't been able to find any other threads on this subject, but I'm sure there are others out there with the same dilemma.
I have quite a number of hosts (switches and routers specifically) that I have set up templates for. One of the things that needs to be graphed on each one is bandwitdh for each port. I have set up graphs for each port in the master template attached to the hosts, but the folks viewing the graphs have asked for a description of the port rather than just a port number above graph. I named each graph "Port XX I/O". I am capturing port descriptions and aliases via SNMP, but I have found no way to display this on the graph as a label or otherwise.
Has anybody else run into this?
Thanks!
