Hello there!
I want to migrate my monitoring system from Nagios to Zabbix. In this moment I have a Zabbix server running on a Lab enviorment.. But I got stuck to soon..
This is the simple scenario:
I have 1 router with 2 fiber link, the first one is the primary link and the second one the backuplink. I want to be able to monitor via ICMP the 2 link reachabiliy.
Router1 Addressing information:
Link1:1.1.1.2/30 Link2:2.2.2/30 Loopback:10.10.10.10
-I want to be able to know when Link1/link2 is down
-I want to be able to know when my host is unreachable (Loopback is unreachble when Link1 and 2 got down)
I saw that we can configure multiple IP addresses at host configuration, but only 1 is being monitored by the ITEM.
I hope you guys can help me.. I promise I will help others when I have a more advanced level.
Thanks!
