vfs.file.regmatch

I'm using Zabbix 1.8, and my question is if there is any possibility to monitor files with regular expressions such as this instruction:
vfs.file.regmatch[/path/to/file/file*.log,succesfull]
If I configure it the error message is that it is not supported.
