Zabbix Proxy using port 443 for outbound comms

    Hi All,

I'm trying to get a zabbix proxy (currently 2.4) onto a site but they will only allow outbound communications to the external world using port 443. We have other proxies installed using default ports working perfectly fine but this has thrown a spanner in the works. We did try to explain that our inbound firewall would be configured to accept their outgoing internet address on specific port (and we're using only one way traffic from site to server) but it wasn't getting past their security bod.

Is there a way to have the proxy (on OpenSuse 42.3) to communicate with the server on port 443? I know the zabbix_proxy.conf doesn't allow 443 to be a valid port.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Cheers,

    Mark.
