    History, Trends and the Housekeeper

I updated to v2.2 in February. I don't remember what the original database size was on the previous server, but I had based by disk size based on what it was using before (with room to grow). The upgrade consisted of moving over all of the non-historical data from the old server. The database has been growing quicker than I had anticipated based on the previous server. My first mistake was not realizing that the housekeeper functionality needed to be turned on in the GUI. It has been on for about two days now though my database files are still growing.

My real questions about about how the history/trends tables work and how the housekeeper plays a part.

I've been poking around the history table and I'm finding data from early february. Does the housekeeper actually do the function of moving this history data and putting it into the trends table? And then deleting the old rows from the history table? Since I started the housekeeper a few months after I should have, is it skipping the old data? Do I need to delete it manually? If I delete the old rows manually, will the trend data still persist (I haven't verified that the old historical data has corresponding data in trends).
