I've noticed recently that Zabbix Agents with a higher version than the Server are working perfectly, even though I've experienced problems in the past regarding version discrepancies. I believed that the Server version had to be equal or higher in order to properly obtain data from the agents. In my case, I'm currently using Zabbix Agents 2.2.2 and Server 2.0.10.
There are no problems here, I'm just curios, what factors (if any) need to be taken into consideration when deciding to work with superior versions of the agents as compared to the server.
