I'm currently building a Zabbix setup at our company and am building a country wide map with sub maps. On some of the sub maps I would like to separate the physical data center layout using the rack and server icons. I can not however place the virtual machines neatly into those racks. I was thinking about using a host group to add the virtual machines but I would like to visually separate the physical servers from the hosts on the map. Is there a way for me to create a list of hosts in the maps that would be similar to the Problems Hosts dashboard module? Just a simple table with Name, IP (Optional), and Status?
Right now I've placed Hyper-V icons in a row and attached a host to them but it looks and feels a little clunky. It would be a lot nicer if I could display those virtual machines as a list.
