We need to setup blackout at different levels in Zabbix. I do not want to disable the triggers because I still want to know that the events are triggered but I would like to have marked as "blacked out". Currently what I am doing is to use a macro to enable/disable and create two triggers one to fire the regular events and another to fire blacked out events with severity "Not classified" instead the actual severity but I would prefer to still keep the severity information and idetify that the event is "blacked out". We are integrating Zabbix with a ticketing tool and we need to filter blacked out events so tickets are not created for them.
Also need to create blackout at different levels: for a complet set of servers, for one server, for one application within a set of servers, for one item of a specific application within a set of servers, etc.
Is there any simple way to do that in Zabbix which do not imply to create hundreds of macros and very complex trigger expressions?
