Hi
I`m testing zabbix in my test environment. I have "zabbix server"
and few linux and windows machines being monitored with
zabbix_agentd. I got a bit familiar with zabbix and i want to
add some actions so I can be notified when something is wrong.
I have added a simple action :
Trigger = "Email (SMTP) server is down on Mail_Servers"
There is a machine in Mail Servers host group linked
with Mail_Servers template. When I turn off SMTP Service
on machine linked with Mail Servers host group I can see
that the trigger is active but the defined action is not working
- I don`t get any email message definied in action.
I don`t know what is wrong I`m using :
- zabbix 1.1
- zabbix_agent 1.1
- nullmailer ( as a MTA forwarding messages to mail hub, nullmailer is not
listening on 25 port on a zabbix server )
