I've noted that hosts support the ability to configure multiple agent interfaces. Can I ask how this is handled during discovery?
I have a number of virtual servers running as clusters. The role of each node will change fairly regularly complicated the gathering of stats in a cluster context. It would be convenient if I could create "cluster hosts" with all of the node interfaces registered (I have agents embedded within each jvm) and use templated discovery to configure items and triggers relevant to the role each node if fulfilling at that time.
Can discovery handle that kind of scenario? If I haven't explained myself well enough please ask and I'll explain further.
