we have implemented a distributed zabbix via several independent zabbix servers at several sites.
now i want to upgrade to 2.2(from 1.8), and use proxy. not serveral independent servers, but one server everal proxies.
my question here is :
if the network between proxyA and zabbix server was broken, and meanwhile, hosts monitored by this proxy was unavailable, so, zabbix server cannot get the information from proxyA, the alert mail cannot be sent..
but, if using former architecture, this will not happen. we now prefer the proxy model, but this problem should be solved first.
