Bandwidth Monitoring on the Firewall using SNMPv2

    Hi Zabbix Community Team,

What I want to achieve is, that I should be able to display upload and download bandwidth per second on each of the firewall interface (Like the way we see in MRTG tool). That is, the live bandwidth utilization.

I have a few Sonicwall TZ500 firewalls, located at multiple branches. I have enabled SNMPv2 access on each them. I am retrieving the values ifInOctets and ifOutOctets on the WAN interface of the firewall every 30 seconds. But I am not able to display live bandwidth utilization on each interface in Mbps those retrieved SNMP values.

I tried creating custom templates in Zabbix, and choose Simple change and change per second pre-processing. But it does not give accurate data flowing across my WAN interface. What should I exactly do, to be able to display live bandwidth utilization. Would really appreciate, if you could help with this.

And also I want to configure triggers, which would be invoked whenever the firewall WAN utilization falls below a particular threshold.
