If this has been answered before, I apologize for my weak Google-fu.
I am generating a template for monitoring network equipment. The switches are stacked up to 8 deep, so I created 8 different "Port Count" items from SNMP (There's no known "total ports" OID for this manufacturer). Problem is, not every stack is 8 deep, so the shorter stacks all have "Not Supported" for the items that don't exist. When I go and create a "total port count" calculated item that covers all 8 switches, it too says "Not Supported" because of the previous "Not Supported" items.
What's the best / recommended way to get this done? Is it possible to default those other items to 0 so the calculated item works?
