Hey none of my hosts have an agent installed on them.
When i run the discovery script on my local lan, it adds all the hosts to configuration -> hosts but it adds them as IPADDRESS:10050 which i believe is the agent port. if you click on the host, it has the IP address as a zabbix agent. I just want the IP address to be for the whole machine, every service on it.
I would like to add them as the ip address for SNMP.
cant see a setting to do this. All i want it to be able to ping hosts. That is the extent of what i want to monitor with zabbix right now.. They are already set up for snmp as well on the host.
two questions.
1) how do i flip all the hosts that are added to SNMP, as opposed to zabbix agent.
2) Is this nessecary? or can i leave it on agent, and snmp will process fine when they are recieved by zabbix. Or do i have to enable every one that i want to use with SNMP that setting.
3) how do i do this enmasse? same as question one really.
