I have Zabbix 4.4 server and several passive proxies that collect all the collected data.
I have a task to migrate the server to new IP address and I am wondering will this happen without data loss if I do the following:
1. Local buffer on proxies is 24h
2. I allow the new IP of the server in the proxy.conf
3. I shutdown the zabbix server and change the IP, I start the zabbix server.
Will the data, collected by the proxies while the server was down, go to the server with the new IP? The downtime of the server and the changing of IP address will take at between 3 and 12 hours and I don't want to lose that data.
How does a proxy decide to which server to send certain data - IP or some sort of Zabbix server id?
