I am facing this issue frequently...
I define a device with snmp v3 enabled ... I assign template, change every thing from snmp v2 to snmp v3 and do necessary changes like user and credentials...etc
It works for some time... but suddenly snmp flag becomes red ... with this error Timeout while connecting to "hostname:161"
How can I find out reason and fix it ?
PS: snmp timeout has been increased on zabbix server conf file ... but it did not fix issue...
