I have a bunch of location data in Zabbix which is populating the Host Inventory fields. But to me this isn't really very useful. I'd love to see this data real time on a map (like Google Maps or Open Street Maps). I can manually copy the coordinates to Google Maps, but obviously this isn't very practical. Having a visual tracking history of the location of a device would be even better (something like a track showing a device's location history throughout the day).
I did try some GoogleFu to look for ways to do this, but every solution seemed very outdated. I'm wondering if others have found a (hopefully not to complex) way to make this data more "useful". Like do you export it onto another application that can show GPS coordinates on a map or record location history?
The best option for me would be to be able to push the data into Home Assistant so I can trigger events based on location. This would require Zabbix to be able to send the data to a MQTT broker I guess... But I'm curious as to whether others are using the location data in a "useful" way.
Thanks in advance for any responses / advice.192.168.0.1 routerlogin 192.168.l.l
