This might be a feature request or might be me not knowing how to do it properly.
I monitor a dell switch, I use a bunch of templates which use snmp discovery to find all the interfaces and things I am interested in.
On top of that I add in custom triggers for specific items.
Now I was doing some testing with interface filtering and ending up filtering out all the interfaces I wanted and keeping all the ones I didn't want.
The problem is I lost all the triggers on the old info !!!! my fault bad me.
What I wanted to do was to re add the triggers and then export the host config and document it
But it seems like when i created the triggers against discovered items and then go to export the host config it strips outs those triggers.
am i doing something wrong. could this be a feature request !
I am going to work out how to add it to the host config and add them in any way and import the config and see if that works. I like the xml configs helps me document my setup ..
