I'm upgrading from a Zabbix 3.0 server to a Zabbix 5.0 server, one thing I've noticed while setting up email alerts is that in the old version, I'd have an alert that had multiple alert generation checked. so I'd keep getting emails for that particular trigger, and when the trigger is resolved, I'd get a single OK message. So it sends 10 problem messages, and 1 OK message patientfusion.
In the new server, I get a recovery message for every single problem alert generation that goes out. So it sends out 10 problem messages and 10 recovery messages.
I'm trying to figure out how I can make it work like the old version, or if there is something else that I need to do so it continues to send emails if there is a problem, but I do not get spammed with recovery messages for a single outage livetheorangelife.
