Is there any way to have individual users assigned to receive alerts from individual servers? I am trying to set up Zabbix to monitor servers as a service to end users. So I could have hundreds or thousands of users and hundreds or thousands of servers. Users need to receive alerts from one or more servers they are assigned to.
So it would be like a one-to-one or several-to-one notification setup. The way Zabbix is designed is more like a many-to-one. it assumes a few users/groups and many servers and all users get all notifications with a few exceptions such as notification severity.
My workaround is to use webhooks and go through my ticketing system. So I have to add tags corresponding to the server which gets sent to my ticketing system which then determines which user(s) are assigned to which servers and then my ticketing system sends out the notification to the assigned user(s). I would prefer not having to do that and have the notifications come directly from Zabbix.
Or perhaps there is some 3rd party app specifically designed for this with all the hooks for Zabbix already built in. I know some ticketing systems do have something like this built in so maybe someone can recommend something since I am not tied to any particular ticketing system at the moment.
