Hello,
I've just started getting a Zabbix server up and running. any help or other posts that will help is greatly appreciated.
The issue that I'm having is, that I've created a discovery for a DHCP Pool of IP's, for a SNMP Check OID(Device Name), the device name is set as the "Device uniqueness criteria". I've created an action for that discovery rule, which will than add the host, add to host group, and apply the associate template. Everything from here is working. My host's are being added and applied, I can monitor them fine. Until the host device changes its IP. If I go to configure that host whos IP changed, It now has a new interface added to the host, everything is the same besides the new SNMP IP Interface that has been added. The first interface on the host has the old IP(before the DHCP IP change) which is set as default, than my SNMP monitoring wont connect to the old interface.
My question is, is there an action that I can automatically remove the old interface from the host, or update the old interface and replace the IP with the new IP address, or can I set the new interface as the default.
Thanks,
-Morgan
