Monitoring URL's

I want to use my existing Zabbix configuration to monitor a few of our websites. I am already using Zabbix to monitor the HTTP processes, but the underlying websites sometimes fail because of problems with either ColdFusion or Tomcat. That is something I can easily pick up by checking the URL's themselves. Is there any way to set up Zabbix to do that for me? And if so, how?
