Have actions attempt a velocity check ad repeat job for a maximum umber of attempts.
Hi, I couldnt find this anywhere so I thought I would attempt to ask.
I have set up an item for the XBOX service on my system and have set up a trigger to state whether it is running (0) or not (6)
I have subsequently created a Trigger so that there is average warning message and I have the ability to act on it.
I have also created an action whereas when this happens it sends a remote command to the host with the error and attempts to start the server.
This all works without issue... the problem starts when I want to run a velocity check on the action.. I dont see a method to do this.
Example, I want for the action to re-run the service and on the next check see if the service is indeed running.. I want it to check this 3 times and on the third time, send an email and close the problem off.
