Initialization of Firewall via Script in Zabbix
Dear Zabbix-Users,
first of all: I am a real beginner with network administration (Zabbix included) and I hope I will be able to explain it properly. Nonetheless, I have to take over some responsibilities in the office for Zabbix and alike.
At the moment we have some issues that the memory pages/sec is too high sometimes and therefore is spitting out a warning.
So I thought about if it would be possible to write a script to initialize the firewall and implement it into Zabbix. To the miniscule of my understanding this should be possible in general, no?
Furthermore it would be nice if you could give me some directions (comparable Forum posts would be nice, because I wasnt too successful with this so far) or even help me with with, how such a script could/should look like.
Off-Topic: From my first impression, Zabbix seems very useful to monitor server status and issues and I think it could help to introduce me to better into the whole topic
