I imported a template into Zabbix using configuration.import method of Zabbix api. The template is a previously exported xml file. The template was created successfully, but the template linkages specified in the template xml file were ignored. If I import the template file manually in Zabbix GUI, templates were linked as expected.
I can add linked templates with template.update method, but it's would be very inconvenient. Any ideas how to make configuration.import method add linked templates? Or is this a known limitation of configuration.import?
