Return number of items discovered from LLD
This seems simple but I must be missing something - When monitoring network devices via SNMP, I simply want to create an item which tells me how many clients an access point has associated with it, although the same would go for switch ports in such and such a condition.
For example I have an access point with 8 clients, there are 8 indexes under each OID, i.e signal1-8, capacity1-8, etc etc, All I want is to create an item which returns 8.
The commentary in this request seems to touch on the subject, but I can't figure out if anything was done about it, the documentation doesn't really reflect any changes: https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBXNEXT-1420
