Does anyone know of a template/example where a host defined macro is used in the LLD item's with success?
I've got MSSQL requirements and are following this :
This works but I needed to tweak it as I have multiple instances with multiple databases on multiple servers... (our DBA team...)
e.g. Server 1 = 3 MSSQL Instances with 4-40 databases per instance.
i've tried using the hostname (which is also the instance name) to no avail in the LLD rules...
Anyone got any pointers in how I would achieve this?
