So we have a Zabbix 5.0 server running on a CentOS that we have monitoring both Linux and Windows systems. One odd thing we have observed with the Windows servers is that when the disk is overly full, the usage alarm will trigger, as expected, and then clear right before going into alarm again. The odd thing is that while the alarm is flapping, the disk utilization on the Windows system isn't changing.
On the Zabbix server side, the graphs don't show that the alarms should have cleared. The data points, for example, might show the disk utilization at a steady 90% with no deviations.
We're running version 5.0.20 of the Zabbix agent on the Windows systems. I thought about upgrading the agents or even trying to "go" version, but I didn't know if that would cause issues with connectivity to the Zabbix server.
I did put the server in debug logging mode and sifted through a whole bunch of logs but didn't see anything that had any bearing on this issue. Any suggestions?
