file system discovery for /dev/ device rather than mounted location

Hello,

Is there a way to set up file system discovery so that it returns the actual device (eg. /dev/sda1) rather than the mounted location (eg. /mnt/drive/)?

I have some triggers that I want to set up for hard drive monitoring but all the monitoring tools require the actual device location not the mounted location.
