Template Item (of type Script) - want to get another items value for processing.

I have created a template -> item (of type script). I want that script to get value of other item for further processing.

e.g. I am reading host sysObjectID in item1. In item2 (of type script) i want to read the value of item1 and do some processing on top of that value.
